Neptune Software doubles down on SAP S/4HANA

Oslo, February 3,  2020 – Neptune Software, as a long-standing SAP partner, has chosen to implement SAP S/4HANA as part of a global system integration project, thus extending its partnership with SAP by becoming a customer.

The strategic decision will include a global roll-out of SAP S/4 HANA 1909 across the Neptune corporate locations throughout Norway, the United States, Germany, and the UK to standardize business operations and support rapid growth and market expansion. Designed to simplify business processes, SAP S/4 HANA is an intelligent, integrated ERP system that runs on SAP’s in-memory database, SAP HANA.

The implementation, which was completed in less than 3 months, is designed to validate the product-market fit of Neptune DX Platform (DXP) to support organizations’ transitions to SAP S/4 HANA in fragmented, hybrid IT landscapes.

As the number of organizations investing in their own digital transformation journey continues to grow, so do the requirements. This includes the need to address diverse system landscapes and support data interactions with varied backend and cloud systems. Within this environment, APIs are a key facilitator, enabling data federation without requirement investments in long-lasting and expensive integration projects.

Rapid Application Development Platforms (RADs) such as the Neptune DX Platform facilitate this API-based composition and development of custom applications and delivering an omni-channel, digital user experiences. And like Neptune Software itself, a growing number of these organizations are migrating to SAP S/4 HANA and Neptune DX Platform in their mission to provide a superior digital experience for their users.
